It's a comfort to know
that even if my poem is doggeral,
still, it will look BEAUTIFUL
on this elegantly designed site.
Although we've never met
I Like you Sister Othelia
You look like someone I know
and someone I once knew
and someone I've yet to meet.
If my plastic had not gone bad during those
overindulgent years
I'd call you right up.
And you might say this...
'You have an excellent chance at your dream job...
but first you simply MUST stop playing on the
internet and pull your resume
together'.
And if I should ask you WHEN will I EVER
overcome my financial woes
you might say....
'As soon as you start saving and stop spending on
these readings'.
And if I ask you,
Sister Othelia Annie Marie,
'How can I change this nitemare with my husband?'

I'm guessing you'd say,
'Why don't you do what you already know works but
are sometimes
OK, OFTEN times
too,dare I say, LAZY to do?'
If time could be frozen
I'd go back to those college art fairs with you
and we'd have great fun with no worries.
I'm glad you made it thru those times and that
you're doing well
and tho' even I don't know you
I won't forget you because you
look like someone I know
and you look like someone I once knew
and you look like someone I've yet to meet.
And by the way, I'll write again
when I get that job in New York City
that
I'm
dreaming
about.
(instead of working at my own job tonight),
